Any suggestions for how I meet the protein target without eating meat?

    Legumes, nuts, seeds, dairy if you eat that, soy, if you eat that...

    I am not a fan of supplements *IF* you can get what you need nutritionally from consuming food! So, assuming that you might have a need for a supplement, consider a pea protein powder.

    Beans, tofu, tempeh, soy milk, seitan, grains, protein powders -- all good sources of plant protein.

    peanut butter, yogurt, nuts--watch portion size. typically a varied diet with plenty of fresh, whole foods has plenty of protein in it anyway--not hard to jack it up a little bit. I have been a vegetarian for 30 years and no issues.

    I'm new to the vegetarian game, but I've learned that beans, nuts and dairy will play a huge part! Soy products seem to have a lot of protein as well (if you plan on eating them).
