So how much protein is really in 4 oz of chicken breast? Depending on which selection in the database you choose, I've seen anywhere from 22g to 35g of protein.
Any thoughts on this?

Closer to the 35g.
White meat chicken has about 30g of protein per 100g cooked, which is about 3.5oz.0 -
Thanks! That's what I was thinking, just annoying most listings are closer to to the 22-24g mark0

Make sure you're using the right listing for raw or cooked weight. Chicken loses quite a lot of weight through cooking.
The inconsistency in water content is one of the reasons I started buying frozen pre-cooked chicken breasts.1 -
A RAW 4oz chicken breast has 22 grams of protein and 110 calories. Cooked the same weight has more protein and more calories. Always weigh your chicken raw.0
