52 yard FG huh. If I have a great kicker, I give him a chance. If not, throw the ball.0

45%!??!? youd have a better percentage to get 4 yards in that situation! Hell, 2 TO's Id go for it. If you dont make it you can still get the ball back and be in the same position with a couple seconds left.
Play action pass...lil waggle action...TE 8 yard out...or hit the fullback leaking out of the backfield.0 -
Obviously, a hook & lateral is called for in this situation...works on xbox, anyway. :bigsmile:0

I would go for it and probably throw a screen out in the flat to the running back and build a wall of blockers for him to get to the sticks. If you kick a fg (even if he makes it), that's plenty of time for the opponent to drive down the field to get in field goal range to win the game. You would put them in a position to have to score a touchdown to win it (assuming your kicker makes the extra pt and if he's over 40% from beyond 50, it should not be a problem.0

if you're a raw odds person, you get extra "we win anyway" points for your defense still producing a 3 and out with a blocked punt or good punt return and score...
at 13-10 it's clear both teams either suck at offense, turned the ball over A LOT, or have played good D.0 -
Pssh. Going for it. Line up in two tight end package with a tailback to force the defense to go big in respect of the run. Rollout the QB to his preferred direction to give a pass/run/pitch option, with the weakside TE on a drag route behind the pursuing linebackers. Receivers lined to the rollout side for extra seal blocking to the inside. If your offense can't convert with three good options to choose from, at least one of which should present a tactical advantage, you don't deserve to win.0
