Keto is just eating so little carbs (and protein) that you enter and stay in ketosis. You still need to eat a healthy diet to be healthy, and you still need a calorie deficit to lose weight.0

Keto is not necessary for weight loss if that is your goal. Focus on healthy eating and log your calories religiously. You will lose weight. Just don't give up. To lose weight all you need to do is stick within your calories.
Getting a food scale turned this place into a science lab that is getting the job done slowly but surely. And I'm learning good habits that will carry on to my senior years. Not doing things like adding coconut oil to my coffee.
