How has your keto experience been? Does it effect your mood, energy level, and weight loss? Why did you choose keto and do you do it with your kids too?

I have type 2 diabetes and I have only recently stumbled across the Keto diet.

I am very interested to learn more about it. Any help would be really appreciated.

I actually learned about keto in June during my last month of pregnancy with my daughter. I had a normal checkup and had felt off for a week or so, and lost 7lbs in a week. They said my ketones were high and that I needed more carbs. I didn't fully understand at the time so I looked it up and decided that I would start officially after my daughter was born. Well, 2 months later and a bit more research and I'm finally jumping in!

So I was unknowingly in ketosis at the time and stumbled across the keto diet when researching what the doctor had said during my examination. Today is day 2!
