36 year old ready for a change!

I have hit the peak or rock bottom! That's exactly how I felt when I saw the scale hit 240.5 pounds, and just said "*kitten*".

So here I am, ready to finally make a damn change for the better. Taking each meal and each day at a time.

Feel free to add me. I've been going at it for a while and have much more to go. Everytime I get on the scale I stare at the number and promise myself that it will be the last time I see a number that high. It is a lifelong journey that I have committed to.

I'm in same boat. Feel free to add me, too. Lots of little pieces finally merged together and opened my eyes to the real picture. It was brutal and I am still trying to recover but I am all in this time. Not just whining around about wanting to lose weight, not just saying I will exercise and doing it for a bit, not just trying to reduce the amount I eat. I am all in - I can not do this anymore.

I have came up with a plan and intend to see it thru. I have a work out schedule that I am treating like I would my job (go even when I don't want to). I am researching and learning about nutrition. We don't have to starve ourselves, just have to eat differently. I am trying to stay active on this site.

Best of luck to you. This IS possible. We CAN do this. Go reach those goals!!!

Age is just a number and you are only as old as you feel. Best of luck on your journey and feel free to add me for healthy recipes and crazy workouts.
