Hi. I just added "running up and down stairs" into the database in a variety of weights. You can choose your weight, and then input the number of minutes, and it will give you the right number of calories. The number of calories is based on the website of the Public Health Agency of Canada at http://stairway.hc-sc.gc.ca/calcalc.aro, so if your weight is not included in what I have listed, you can go there to find out your calories. However, I've added to our database 11 different weights, from 120 to 220 lbs. I love how easy it is to add things to the myfitnesspal database. As for running up and down stairs, I love that if you have stairs in your house or apartment you can just do it for 10 minutes or so here and there throughout the day to rev up your metabolism. I hope somebody out there finds this to be helpful!
