Is it okay to exercise while pregnant? I'm am about 9 weeks tomorrow and I want to start working out is it okay.

    Generally you shouldn't start a new exercise program when pregnant. It's generally safe to continue an already existing program at least through the first trimester.

    Check with your OB before doing anything you didn't already do before.

    At this point you can exercise but not too hard. Later it would just be impossible. If you want, you can buy a pregnancy pillow (check out http://pregily.com/ and read about them if you don't know what it is) but generally speaking, it will really help you to sleep better, feel not so tired all the time and to lessen back pains. Really a helpful thing.

    At this point, her baby is over a year old!

    Congratulations and definitely check with your doctor first. It will not be impossible for you to continue to exercise late into your pregnancy. I know a lot of women including myself who did just that. Your body will tell you when it is too much
