I'm going to answer your title, not your question!

I admire women with great makeup and admire women who feel comfortable without.

Personally I rarely wear makeup because I start to obsess about it and it getting messed up, it makes me insecure knowing that it might not be perfect.

I'm not going to argue with that. I will say that on the flip-side of the coin, I'm very (what's the appropriate opposite of shallow?) deep? when it comes to faces. Everyone is fairly good-looking.

ETA- I'm still laughing at the irony of calling a stranger shallow AF.

Honestly, it's not like we wear makeup for guys anyway...you think I own 20+ lipsticks for my husband...hell no! He thinks they are basically all the same color and that I'm sexy with or without makeup (which I am *hairflip*). I LOVE my lipstick and I do my makeup for me, to do something special for myself...something I enjoy. I have spent years learning to love myself and teaching myself to be confident...and those years are paying off in how I treat myself.

If a woman is confident and shines she's going to do that with or without makeup.

i just figure they're always going to look really nice and probably smell fancy.

So I wasn't a make up counter girl but I did go to cosmotology school and we had to always look nice even outside of school. If we were to run into an instructor we would get docked points if we had no make up and/or our hair wasn't done. It was a pain in the *kitten*.

I wonder if make up counter girls have to look made up all time or if they say eff it when they aren't working?

As long as she's happy, I couldn't care less. Can't tell the difference between most of that goop anyways. Healthy skin is a big plus though.

I have felt better not wearing it because I know it will improve skin. I have felt happier not spending so much of my time trying to look perfect. I'll wear it again but for now I'm enjoying feeling liberated and happier within myself
