Hello...Just finished my first 30 days

I am new to MFP and am amazed at what a difference it has made so far in my first 30 days. I have basically set a goal and tried to stay under my calorie "ceiling". Counting calories has definitely made a difference in my approach to weight loss this time around.

Weighed in for the first time since starting and have dropped 20 pounds. My mantra has been "it's ok to be hungry"...which has been getting easier to say as time goes on. Now I need to focus on starting to move more.

It has been encouraging to read through many of the topics in this forum to get information and be encouraged in the fact that I am among fellow warriors in the battle against the bulge. We can do this!

Hard times are coming...the holiday season is closing in and there are so wonderful foods that are presented during this time of year and it will be easy not to log what I am eating. I will need to keep asking myself...FIT or FAT...what do you want to be?
