Never completed diet - I feel like a 86-kilo failure

Hi,
Sorry for the bleak title - but that's exactly how I feel.
MFP is my last resort - I have tried every diet out there - but the problem seems to be me - I can't compete anything I start out to do. I start with wonderful planning, buying products, planning meals, but somehow my mojo seems to evaporate and I end up at "start" all over again.
Some stats about me:
43 year old female, married+2. I am a public speaking trainer. I weigh 86 kilos and counting.
I have a sweet tooth, chocolate being heaven for me (and a break from a semi-hectic lifestyle, a husband who works around the clock, two kids and a crazy dog).
Once a beautiful woman - I now envy women my age who look after themselves, and some are drop-dead gorgeous, let me tell you.
I live in the picturesque area of the Galilee in Israel on the edge of a huge forest.
That's me saying hi.

Diets are designed to fail, and to make you think you failed, and then try again, the same diet, or another diet, again and again and again, heavier for each try. In short, diets don't work.
MFP is not a "last resort", it's a lifesaver, a gamechanger, a return to reason, rationality and sanity. You can learn how to eat and live and be just like the thin people you admire. You will almost start to admire yourself, at least be happy with your weight. You can't be happy with your weight unless you're happy with the lifestyle that leads to that weight.
Everybody loves chocolate. Issues arise for everybody, every day. You can find ways to keep chocolate in your life, but you can't eat chocolate instead of dealing effectively with any issues that arise.0 -
this is why you need to stop doing 'diets' and start making lifestyle changes that are sustainable.0

I think you need to be a little self disciplined. Chocolate is not doing you any favours and only you can say no to it. If you cant discipline yourself then it will be hard.0
