Introducing Myself :)

Hi, everyone! I'm Dot. I'm thirtysomething, a newbie, and I'm really loving this board. I joined yesterday, and the verdict is- there is too much sugar and fat in my diet, haha! But, I really love all the support and would like to make friends. I'm 5'3 and 188 (my highest weight ever was 200 about 12 years ago, lowest as an adult was 140 about 6 years ago, but I was doing lots of drugs at the time) and I am trying to get fit for many reasons. Brother's wedding in October, just to feel better, and I'm really hating myself in pictures right now which is new to me.
I quit smoking almost a year ago and gained weight in my arms (WTF?!) and it really bothers me. We took pictures on Saturday for my brother's birthday and it almost made me cry, and that's how I got here.
I have some muscle. I walk a lot and do Pilates 3 times a week. I can zip my size 10 jeans but they're snug. I know a lot of people would love to be a size ten and I'm not trying to complain. It's mainly about toning and being tighter. The arm thing really got to me because my arms have never been heavy before.
Looking forward to making friends and learning a lot and finally putting crappy habits behind me.

    Hi Dot! Welcome! This is my second time using this site for weight loss, and it's a wonderful site. I lost about fifty pounds before, and slowly gained most of it back. I am having my second son this week so I will have about sixty pounds that I am wanting to lose total. You can do this, and look awesome for the wedding coming up and also just to feel wonderful :) Please add me if you would like~
