Low calorie but high protein intake...?

I've been recording my food intake for two weeks. I'm weighing and measuring everything. I go to Orange theory fitness 4 times a week. Looking at my reports on MFP, my caloric intake for each day ranges from 1000 to 1300 a day. However, my protein intake ranges from 115 to 155 grams a day. I don't feel hungry and when I do I eat, but it is always high protein and veggies, very little carbs. Is this type of diet bad? It's honestly hard some days to up the caloric intake eating like this. I really only have about 5-7 lbs to loose, and would like to tone up my muscles a bit more.

eat more calorie dense food if you want to up your cals. full fat dairy, nut butter, avocado etc. lots of cals for little volume.
there's nothing wrong with your diet, if its sustainable but you're probably eating an unnecessary amount of protein. what are your stats?0 -
Thanks for responding. I'm worried that if my caloric intake is too low, metabolism will slow & my body will use muscle as fuel. That's why I'm keeping my protein up. And really, when cutting carbs, protein stuff is my go to everything to eat, lol. My stats.... 45yrs, 5'2", 125lbs. I'm trying to get rid of this stubborn layer of jiggly fat around my abs, hips & butt. I have a very petite frame.0

You don't have a lot of weight to lose, so in your situation I'd do what the previous poster said. Add in some butter, olive oil, etc. to add to your calories to get you to 1300 on average per day basis. Or simply have 1 extra snack or treat a day.2

5'2". 125lbs you are in normal range for your height - you would probably be better to do a progressive strength training program (stronglifts, wendler) to help with the "jiggle" - aka recomp
at 125lbs, I probably would aim for 100-110g protein a day, 155 is, IMHO too much and you'll just pee it out; add some good fats (full fat milk, yogurt, avocado); carbs aren't to be feared1
