I have been looking at a lot of pictures on tumblr of girl that have the body I want, thin and toned. but then I will come across a picture that shows someone who has lost a lot of weight and they have extra skin.
if I keep working out and eating clean will I look like the thin and tones girls or will have extra skin that I would have to have removed?
I am 25, 26 next month
SW: 240
CW: 226
GW: 150
If you have lost a significant amount of weight please let me know what to expect, I know everyone is different but maybe I can get a general idea.

It really, truly comes down to your genetics. My highest weight was 245, plus two pregnancies. I'm down to mid-150's, and while I have a small amount of excess skin, on my lower abs, a bit on my upper thighs, and a small amount on my arms. I know people who have lost the same amount of weight and have lots of excess skin, and people who have almost none. All you can do is take it slow, and see what your body will do.
I will note that my skin has been tightening up a lot in the last several months (my weight has been fairly stable the last 5ish months, and my youngest is 22 months).0 -

That is the trouble with being adopted I don't know my genetics... le sigh. So I'll just have to wait for the surprise!0 -
It does depend on a variety of factors, including start weight, age, and genetics, but I think it also depends on how quickly you lose the weight. If you drop a lot of weight in a short period of time, your skin has less time to recover and you're more likely to have loose skin. I was mildly paranoid about having extra skin, but I started at 235 and now I'm at 194. So far so good! Unless you have to drop weight quickly for medical reasons, slow and steady is the way to go.0
