Target weight

Trying to find an ideal target is hard, the calculators online now incorporate body frame. Some say I'm medium frame some large frame. I'm 163cm, female the ranges I'm getting are sometimes as tight as 56-58, another said 57 to 64, 54 to 61, that was with me at medium frame, one lovely website reckons I'm within normal range at my current weight of 69kg!
I know for my fights I need to be low 50s but people achieve that through dehydration.
Anyone else have this issue?

This proves there is not "one" ideal weight. An online estimator cannot possibly know everything about your body & personal preferences. Mid 50s sound reasonable since that's where you need to be for fighting. Maintenance is about a 5-10 lb range because Weight naturally fluctuates.

You can test out to see at which range you feel good. If you think about cutting weight for a fight just make it one or two kg max I think everything else might not be sustainable or worth it in amateur. your ideal weight should be close to your performance max. for me going low is ok but I fall under a small frame n I would hold my fight weight permanently because I don't like the pressure to cut so I prefer to keep it on that range or max 2 kg over.

Maybe shoot for a body fat range instead.

As mentioned, it's all really about what you want and why. When it's aesthetics, people have their own preferences up and down the healthy-bmi-range, and for sports there are certain reasons to be certain weights. As a runner I want to be lighter, so am aiming low 50s (height 166cm). Still stuck at 56/57 :(
