Its all in the title. Just out if curiosity from those that actually know.. i am a 6'2 female 228lbs. Smallest bit of my waist is 38inches. Is it realistic to try to drop 3 inches in 6 weeks. If so I would love healthy suggestions to attempt this.

I don't know whether it's physically possible, but I know there's no way to tell whether it will happen or not. You can't spot reduce. You lose weight and it comes off where it comes off. Considering your stats, 1 lb a week is realistic, 1.5 - 2 lbs some weeks is possible. Log accurately and consistently and do your best, but whether it comes off your arms, your butt, or your waist is anybody's guess. Just keep losing, and eventually you'll get there. Good luck!

Concentrate on the calories and perhaps add in some toning exercise but your body will decide where it wants to shrink. Don't get fixated on specific areas as could lead to disappointment, I'm just happy to see lbs dropping off.

What happens that the garment must fit in 6 weeks from the middle of September? That's usually an April and May sort of question. In America we have a goofy holiday where grown up rational adults wear strange things and advise others to be "happy" about it.
