When Did You Start.....

I was wondering when those people with a lot of weight to lose, and whose scales provide it, started counting/including the number after the decimal? When I started I set my goal at 120 pounds to lose. I've just reached the halfway point but haven't ever included the fraction. The rate at which the weight is coming off has slowed and stabilized now so i was just wondering when people started tracking down to the tenth.

I started counting it from the beginning that's just how my trainer did it.
It's ok to start now, but don't stress over each liittle .1 fluctuation.
Congrats on your progress. You do know that it's normal and expected that the rate of loss slows down? You have less room to create a large deficit now. My first 50 took 6 months. The next 50 took 8 months. The last 50 took a year. I never did eek out the last 3-5 lbs I was aiming for, but it's no big deal. Maintaining for a year now.3 -
A year an a half ago. I woke up one morning & did not like the way I look. It just hit me. Then since then, been working my butt off.
Started with being obsessed with the scale then I realized it's about how I feel. So I don't even remember the last time I looked at my weight lol.0 -
I started almost a year ago. On my anniversary at the end of December. I had a huge meal at a buffet, and went way over my calories, but I still started logging my food that day and count it as my first day. I've lost 45 pounds since then, even after taking a three month diet break.
I always count the decimal place, because it adds up over time. I weigh daily and track my trend in Happy Scale (IOS, use Libra for Android).
There's no wrong way though, if you don't want to count the decimal don't. But as your loss shows down from getting closer to goal you may only lose a fraction of a pound a week. That's when a decimal might feel good and a weight trend app will help like you're maxing progress.0 -
It takes time.
Don't overthink it!
It will happen when it happens.0
