Unauthorized subscription charge of $9.99 ???

I just got an email from Apple showing a Fitness Pal charge for Fitness Pal Premiun (Automatic Renewal) $9.99. I did not (knowingly) sign up for this. Is this a SCAM? How do I cancel this??

That's crazy wierd... I doubt it's a scam but here's a copy paste of how to cancel.

How do I cancel my Premium subscription renewal?
You may cancel your recurring subscription at any time before the next renewal date. Your membership or subscription might renew if you don't cancel your membership or subscription more than 24 hours before your renewal date.


You are canceling the next billing charge — Premium features will remain available to you until the end of your current paid subscription period, regardless of when you cancel the automatic renewal.

Please note that you must process a request for cancellation of your renewal using the same platform on which you originally paid.

Subscriptions purchased via our iOS app are managed in your iTunes account controls. Please see this article from Apple to learn how to manage or cancel a recurring subscription:

Basically you have to cancel through your Apple account

make sure its from MFP and if you were charged,dispute the charges and change the email and password for your apple acct if you can. my son had several charges through his bank acct for things he doesnt even use. many showed up under his apple acct that he doesnt even use.

Are you positive you didn't sign up for a free trial with automatic billing? It happens quite frequently

Well, you are a Premium member, so at some stage you've signed up for it, whether by free trial or not. So go to Settings > Premium and turn off auto-billing.
