I'm a noob to My Fitness Pal, but not to trying to stay fit. Need to get re-motivated and back on track. I've got 40.5lbs to lose, though by US standards, I'm only slightly overweight.

Thanks! Decided that I had enough of feeling tired and sluggish and my extra weight affects my lower back. Time to shake the dust off and get moving!0

I've recently re-started calorie counting with MFP after using Calorie Counter for quite a few years. It's amazing that I've lost 4.5 pounds in just 2 weeks.
Set a calorie goal and stick with it, and you should get there too.
Like you, I'm not trying for fitness - yet!1 -
I have roughly around the same thing to lose also. Add me and we can work on it together.1

Hello, Welcome to MFP!! Tracking your food is so helpful, Log everything accurately, you can do this!! All the best!! Feel free to add me.0

My nutritionist wants me at 950 calories per day just for the first week and then we'll see... I like my red wine so it's already been a bit of a challenge, though I've managed!
