I'm 62 years old and I've been retired for over two years.
I've been using Fitness Pal for about 3 months and I am very impressed with its comprehensive data base. I started using it when I restarted my gym exercising which was a requirement in preparation for some major surgery. The surgery occurred a lot sooner than expected and I had only spent two weeks in the gym. It has taken me about ten weeks to recover sufficiently to restart the gym programme without risk of regression. I find Fitness Pal is a great way of monitoring my diet and helping me to determine what I should or shouldn't eat. I try to maintain a high protein / low salt diet and the data base on nutritional value of each food is a tremendous assett.

Welcome!! Glad that you've recovered nicely. I too have just started in the gym, weight/resistance training, it's done wonders but need to stick with it to get my desired results.0
