PSMF?

Options
Hey guys,

trying a PSMF (overweight) and wanted to know how long you guys did it?

Is there a MAX amount of time someone should do it?
When do the necessary hormones are getting lower and metabolic slowdown (thyroid, leptin) does occur?

Any advice for a good kcal tracking to get a realistic measurement?
Tracking kcal and weight already but cant get something out of the data due to water weight and cortisol.

Thanks!

Are you under an MD's care?

Whatever method you use, if your goal is weightloss, it will take a long time. A long, long time.
Is PSMF something you will want to do for a long, long time?
Too much focus on minor details takes focus away from the major things that have a real impact. Is that what you want?

PSMF is a very low calorie diet that should only be done under a physician's direction with the appropriate supplements and only for a very short period of time. Do not attempt this without being under medical observation.

If you have to ask these questions of strangers on an open internet forum this is a very stupid idea. Seriously, just eat right and exercise.

Get used to water weight muddling up your data. That's perfectly normal and not something you need to fight against with diets that are meant to be medically supervised.
