1" loss/prediabetes control?

Lost another1" off waist this week. I know I have many more to go but it is very encouraging.
I'm beginning to gain stamina and want to move more. Other diets have not worked for me as they concentrated on carbs and fibre bulking rather than protein and controlling sugar levels. Hoping to get my bloods tested in a few months to be out of the prediabetes danger zone.
Has anybody else experienced dramatic inch loss and prediabetes control/revertion?
