Hi all, I just bought some vitamin c- orange flavour effervescent. It is supposed to be sugar free ,but the water tasted sweet after the tablet was dissolved in it. I read the ingredients list and did not see artificial sweetener. Any idea the calories in it? I will be taking a high does of vitamin C for these 3 days ( please do not question me, I know what I am doing), but i am afraid of understating my calories. Thanks for the response.

    If it says it is sugar free it most likely is. I take 2 vitamin C capsules a day of 500mgs each and one has 5 calories, which I think is mostly the capsule itself. Maybe that helps you in making an educated guess.

    I take a multivitamin effervescent and it has 9 cals. I suppose it depends on which make you take but they seem to be between 5 & 10 cals each.
