Any 40+ year olds out there with a few pounds to lose?

Hi. I'm a 43 yr old, busy, full-time wife, mother and nurse. I've been on mfp for about 6 weeks. Lost almost 14 lbs. I'd like to start adding exercise and would like some support with that.
So far I've lost weight with calorie counting and diet changes.
I started at ~170 lbs. Now at 155. I'd like to get to about 136, although my first goal is 146 which will put me in normal bmi for my height.
Anyone out there who would like to try this journey with me?

Congrats on your progress so far! I'm almost 40, working on getting lean. We can do this!

You're off to a fantastic start! I'm 47 and I've been on MFP for 6 years. I started at 158, got down to 136, but starting slacking off in the last year and now I'm at 147 working to get back down to the mid 130s.

Getting the family going for evening walks will help more than you think and takes very little time to arrange and its free. Finish with some pushups, bodyweight squats etc...
