I am a 37 year old police officer from Tennessee but living in Arizona. I started at 262 lbs and so far using this app have dropped to 234 in a little over 5 weeks. I have hit a plateau and need to break through. Looking for people to motivate and inspire. Recipe swaps and exercise advise is welcome.

  • Well done. :p
That is a massive amount of weight in a short period of time.
It is to be expected you will hit a plateau.
Keep in mind, your body is 30 pounds lighter now than a month ago.
    Just keep going.

Keep logging your all your calories. Keep in a calorie deficit and keep moving.

JUST REMEMBER-THIS IS A MARATHON NOT A SPRINT!
It's a day by day journey for the rest of your life.
Can I suggest, not to go too hard too fast or you will burn out.
Make one small change at a time and stick to it, then move on to the next one.

    You will get there.
You are doing well. Just keep pushing!
    Good luck B):)
  • Oh and yes.
I have loads of recipes I can offer if you are interested.
    ( I am a vegetarian though)! :D:#

Hey...to get over the pause in loss maybe mix up your exercise. Your body gets used to the routine and can sometimes be a little stubborn. Watch your sodium intake too and make sure you are drinking loads of water...water retention can be a bugger sometimes :)
