Alcohol - will it throw you out of Ketosis?

I am headed on vacation and I want to know if I drink alcohol will it mess me up and if I do what alcohol is the lowest in carbs?

it depends on the alcohol, beer for example is full of carbs so probably will. Spirits like gin (or scotch) have no carbs and can be drunk with soda water or even slimline tonic BUT your metabolism will deal with any alcohol first so fat burn will stop until the alcohol is processed, although you remain in ketosis.
The thing to consider is... can you stop at one or two drinks? Or will you get tiddly then crave a pizza?
I'm lucky, I can have "a" drink and stop at that. I will admit if I go over 3 I might just go "soddit".
