yes, eat more and see if you start losing. Sounds logical.

How is your logging? Are you using a digital food scale to weigh all solid and semi solid food? Are you choosing correct database entries?

How long have you been trying to lose weight?

The activity setting is for activity outside of exercise, so if you're sedentary apart from exercise, choose sedentary and add in exercise calories (and eat 1/3-1/2 of those calories back).

If you only have a little to lose, you won't see much progress at 1200 calories. Vanity pounds take the longest to lose. If you have a lot to lose and let's say you are perfectly measuring and weighing every last bite to 1200 calories, you could be holding on to water weight. Check your sodium levels. Too high holds onto water. If you are straining your muscles, there is water there.. Period? Water.

I would work on logging accuracy rather than eating more calories to lose weight.

You say "not really losing much", I presume you were losing something. Eating more is not the solution unless you are stalled for a sustained period of time and perhaps you have been in a calorie deficit for a very long time, hense maybe a diet break is in order, then you could recreate your deficit again.

Always tighten up your logging and make sure you are not eating too many exercise cals back, if this is not 100% on point, adding 500 calories on top of this is not the answer.
