Is 5/6 grams of salt a day too much?

Just a quick question, should salt be cut well below the reference intake of 6g in the UK or is that a safe amount daily?

That's about 2400 mg of sodium. So roughly the same rec as in the US. Without some medical issues that would require low sodium I see no reason you'd need to go lower. (How important it is to stay that low, even, is debated.)0 -
