Elliptical progress

Hi,

Quick question - what's the best way to know you're progressing on the elliptical?

Do you go by HR? Or something else?

    Like, say you're doing 30min at resistance 5 and you're in your target HR for most of it. Maybe some light intervals.

    Mine has a calories burned...I don't follow the number or trust it, but its a good gauge of intensity.
