I've lost 7lb so far using mfp. Before I started using this I was on slimming world and I've lost 43lbs in the last year. I have 10 more pounds to lose to be at my goal weight of 138 lbs. This past week I've been struggling so much! I feel constantly hungry and finding it so to stay with my 1200 a day calorie allowance. I feel like I might blow it at any moment and eat the whole family size bag Doritos in my cupboard!

Ive been trying to stay motivated by walking the dog 1 and a half miles every night but I juat end up wanting to eat more when I get home.
Anyone have any advice for keeping motivated?
My stats are:
Female
25
148lbs
5ft3

You SHOULD be eating those calories back - that's exactly how MFP is intended to be used. So log those calories and eat them - especially since you already have your calorie goal set to the absolute minimum calories.

Since you are so close to goal weight, you should be slowing down the rate of loss to get used to eating closer to maintenance levels. Add a couple hundred calories to your daily goal.

With 10 lbs to go, you should expect to lose @ half a lb per week. That will prob give you more than 1200 cals. You should also log your exercise and eat back at least some of those calories. Patience will be required, as that half lb can easily be hidden on the scale by normal fluctuations. Hang in there and good luck.

Eat more than the bare minimum. Adjust your goal to something more reasonable and eat back at least a portion of your activity calories.

eat more and begin researching maintenance now.

You can have more than 1200 calories. Eating 1200 calories is only going to set you up for rebound when you finally arrive at your goal weight. Again, Plan now for maintenance.

I also say eat more. I am much older than you, same height, I weigh 144lbs. I eat 1700 calories not including my exercise calories and am still losing.....slowly but I am! I only eat back a portion of my exercise calories for the most part. I would want to stab someone if I ate that little!
