Just curious if anyone has ever done the "Diet bet". If so what were your thoughts/conclusions, did you win any money, was it worth it, and most importantly did you keep the weight off?? For those who've never heard of this, it's a website that does a contest with many other people and theres a money pool that you win. That's all I know about it since I've never tried it. https://www.dietbet.com/

I've done it. I can't lose enough weight as quickly as it needs to be done to win though without doing something drastic and unhealthy so I wouldn't do it again. I have since heard they do longer ones so maybe those would be better but I'm still not interested in trying again.

I haven't don't it but I'm currently doing healthy wage. They have challenges very similar to diet bet and I've won one so far. Had to lose 6% in 12 weeks. Paid in 60 and won 115. I don't like the challenges so much because the rate of loss is high but they help with motivation to win my other wager..

They have individual wagers where you can double or triple your money and you get to decide the amount you want to pay in, the amount you want to lose, and the time frame. I'm paying $75 a month for 6 months (450 total) betting I'll lose 32 pounds in that time and if I do I'll win $1330. So a very nice return on investment for a reasonable goal (It's 11% of my starting weight). Already lost 20 so it's helping keep me on track. I plan on doing more, sticking to about 10% of my weight each time, but increasing the number of months to account for a slower rate of loss.
