I've thought about all this a lot and felt like making a "tough love" post. Please understand that it's meant with only the best intentions and love.

It's really simple. You need to dig deep and ask yourself "why are you on here?". Most, I think, would say "to lose weight, duh..." but time and time again I see posts that don't reflect that. What I read from many is "I'm here to prove that diet and exercise won't work for me". It may hurt to hear but I think it's important to dig deep and evaluate yourself. If you realize that you fall into the latter, the next part is for you.

AT LEAST 95% of us are completely capable of losing weight via diet and exercise (mainly diet!!!). Very few have a genetic or medical condition that makes it almost impossible. There are many ways, strategies, theories on how to accomplish this. We're all built different. What worked for me may not work for you. So, BELIEVE that you can do this. Come up with a PLAN. EXECUTE that plan. If you don't see progress after n months read read READ and come up with a new plan. DON'T LOSE HOPE and DON'T GIVE UP if your first plan doesn't work or it doesn't work as fast as you want. Maintain the believe that you WILL FIND THE WAY to reach your goals. There's a 95% chance you can and I put my money on that every single time.

If you really look hard at your intentions and discover that I may be on to something and that you're here to prove that you can't lose weight I beg you to heed my words. You CAN do this. Be here to FIND A WAY.
