hello, my name is kylee. i have a big goal: lose 1-2lbs a week for the next 31 weeks (starting on october 1st). i would love to have some friends to help me along the way and i am also great support for you guys. i want to encourage and motivate each other. if you are interested you are more than welcome to add/message me!☺️ thanks.

    FYI, weight loss, and the life you live while trying to lose weight, is not linear. It does not go in a straight line. Don't despair. Don't self-sabotage. Don't believe much of anything you see on the internet that tells you there is an easy way to lose weight fast and all you have to do is pay them to tell you how. This site is free. There is an easy way to banish advertising, and that is to pay MFP $10/month. The weight loss advice and tools are free, though.

    Like most people who start using this site, you think that losing 2 lb per week is as easy as clicking the radio button on your phone, it's as easy to push that button as to push the 1 lb per week button and the 0.5 lb per week button. Real life is a different story. If you find yourself ashamed to log all the food you eat, change the plan to the 1 lb per week or 0.5 lb per week choice. That way you get permission to eat more and occasion to be ashamed less often.

    Read the sticky messages at the top of the Home of the discussions. They are sticky for a reason. The reason is that the first message and subsequent discussions are so freaking valuable that everyone should read it often. It's really for your own good.
