Best exercise for smaller legs?

8 years ago I lost 150 lbs but I blew it and went back to old habits and over the past 4 years have gained it all back (+). So far this go around I've lost 45 lbs and last night I was pulling out older clothes from my closet trying to find something smaller to wear (yay!) and I discovered that this time I gained weight in new and (not so) exciting places..... namely my upper legs.... smaller things are fitting in my waist but some of them are tight on my legs and to be honest my legs look weird. So here's my question: what's the best exercise to lose fat in your legs? Thanks!

There is no way to spot reduce fat, unfortunately. Continue eating at a deficit and you will eventually lose the fat in your legs along with the fat everywhere else.

Everyone is going to tell you that you cannot spot reduce. They are right. You need to lose weight to reduce fat, and your body is going to choose where it comes off first. I gained most of mine in my belly area, and it was definitely the last to come off. Walk/run do regular cardio, that'll help but again, it's going to be up to your body where it comes off first. Usually the one place you want it to come off is the last place it does. So be patient and consistent with diet and exercise and you'll get there.
