Hi all!
I'm not new to MFP at all (I've been on since 2013), however, I'm the queen of on again off again use of this app. I'm 22 & just graduated from undergrad where I unfortunately gained a ton of weight and was consistently feeling bad about myself. I've already lost about 20lbs and I'm down to 150lbs (I'm 5'5) but I'm looking for some motivation/support/tips to lose the last 25(ish)lbs! I've given up so many times but this time I'm really very motivated to stick with my goals and to not stop until I reach them!

Well, motivation for me is looking ahead. It's different for everyone. I DO NOT want creaky knees and problems climbing stairs in 10 years, so it's worth it to me to keep weight off. Nothing like mostly immobile 50 year old relatives to get you inclined to stay more fit.

Do you want kids someday? Losing weight now is a lot easier than when you have kids to take care of. Not to mention the physical ordeal of pregnancy is easier if you're fit.

Do you need to lose that much weight? You may just be happier to work on fitness and stay in your current healthy BMI range, just a bit lower. If you just graduated and lost 20 lbs already, try maintaining your current weight for a bit or losing slowly. You may be feeling burned out from working too hard to lose lately.

Hi there - I'm 43 and looking to lose about 40 lbs. I've yo-yo'd for the past 20 years and feel like I've tried everything under the sun to stick with it. I don't have much to offer yet for motivation but will be paying attention to this thread to get motivation! I started again on Monday with eating small portions and mostly fruit/veggies and fish/chicken, with a few grains. Exercise is now about 30 min a day with elliptical, "simply fit board" and strength training stuff. Good luck to everyone!
