Compound movements during new split?

So I'm switching from training one muscle group once a week to 3X a week. I'm starting to slow down with progress and getting bored so I want to switch it up. My question is with my compound movements. I'm separating things into upper body (shoulders, chest & tris, back & bis), and lower body (glutes & hamstrings, quads & calves, core), but I'm not sure about compound movements. Should I do all the compounds like overhead press, bench press, and pull ups with every workout, or split it up so that say, Mondays I do overhead press, then Wednesdays bench press, and so on. And that would be even though I'm doing other movements for those body parts. I have enough exercises to fill up my schedule, but I don't know if compound movements would make me too tired if I were doing all of them 3X a week. Any advice?
