Minimum/maximum calories?

I see others speaking on MFP about meeting their "minimum" calorie goal but my profile only shows one number, no min or max. What's the deal? Am I supposed to be doing something differently? Help?

It'll just be the amount that they deem their personal min/max. So they aim to eat at least 1200 and maximum 1800 for example.0

This is what I do. I have my calories set at 1200 as a preferred goal, but if I go up to 1400, no big deal. I just have it set at 1200 because it seems to keep me on track better.0
