Leg/butt exercises with resistance bands.

The gym at my apartment complex has one of those multi-purpose cable machines, some kettlebells, and some dumbbells. I can't use the cable machine for my legs because it's mostly pulling/kicking motions and I have injured hips. If I used resistance bands for donkey kicks, fire hydrants and stuff like that, could I do those exercises every day since it's not weighted?

You could.. since recovery time for those types of exercises is fairly short and they can be performed more often.

    What are your goals?

If you are looking to build or maintain muscle, you do want to make sure you progress over time (more resistance, more reps, more sets).

you could, but i'm finding out that hips are pretty damn cranky once they have things to be cranky about.

so i wouldn't assume resistance bands are harmless. they might look that way but depending on what is wrong with your hips they could still lay some good repercussions on you. start gentle and make sure your body is okay with the movements you're doing, and then add the bands.
