Hi all! My name is Lora and I've been a member here for several years and just never kept up with it. I am at the point now that I am sick and tired of being FAT! I have 70 pounds to lose. I have tried EVERY diet out there. I loved Atkins. I am a meat and veg kind of girl BUT it isn't sustainable for me. There are just some weeks that beans, rice or pasta is all there is. So now I am counting calories. I figure I can eat what I want as long as I count it and it will help me control portions. I'm an emotional eater. Happy, sad, depressed, doesn't matter. I just eat. So I am going to use FitnessPal to track my calories.
Currently, I am not able to exercise. I injured my neck back in March and it isn't any better. The pain is unbearable some days. I WANT to exercise but at 58, I go pretty slow. Anyway, I tend to ramble so I will stop now. I look forward to getting to know everyone and finding motivation when I need it! Thanks

You can do it! Calorie tracking is very helpful. Also, even if limited movement is all you can do on some days, it's better than nothing.1
