I'll humiliate myself with a story of me trying to order a coffee in Quebec!!
My grade 9 French teacher told our class that our accents were so awful that no one would be able to understand a word we were saying...so I never bothered trying an 'accent' after that I just say the words super 'english'.
For me I had to either record on my computer on vocaroo or get an voice record app on my phone and upload to vocaroo
....I waaay over saturated the first and also this thread with my child-like sounding voice...but I want to further humiliate myself by mutilating French!!
Yes! It couldn't possibly be worse than my French! I know more German than French
Oh, just wait for it! I should humuliate myself in German too! My dad taught me a few phrases!!
This is all fun tho right!!
Horrible accents trying to speak a different language!!
My fav is Italian people speaking English, they seem to put emphasis on every syllable...I love it!1 -
