Does working at Price Chopper burn 945 calories per day?

I work at Price Chopper seven hours per day, four days per week. From 5am to 8am, I make the prepared meals and salads in the deli, and then from 8am to 12pm I make cut fruit and fruit platters, and put out merchandise like tofu and bottled juice, in the produce department. I'm on my feet the whole time. According to myfitnesspal's cardio exercise database, one hour of food prep is 135 calories. 135 x 7 = 945 calories. Do you think that is true? It just feels like I'm not burning that many calories when I work there. What do you think?

You should be calculating that in your activity level, not logging it as exercise.

That 135 an hour isn't on top of what you burn merely existing, it includes it. For context, the average person burns 63 calories an hour sleeping. So it could be right, but yeah - activity level, not logged exercise. Log purposeful or occasional exercise only.

You shouldn't be entering it as exercise, as work comes under activity level, which for the amount of time you're on your feet is probably 'lightly active'.
