What meal of the day do you usually eat the most carbs and calories?
I usually drink a shake in the morning for breakfast then at lunch I'll consume my most calories followed by light dinner. Light to no snacking. When I do snack its 4-5 grapes or a handful cashews.
Just curious to know best time of day to consume your largest meal.

The best time to eat the biggest meal of the day, is whatever is the best time for any given person. For me, it's when dinner is ready Dinner is the last meal of the day for me. Usually 6-8 hours after breakfast.1

The best way to split your calories is what suits you.
For me I like my bigger meals to be the ones I share with other people.
Breakfast-100 to 300 calories
Lunch- about 400 calories
Dinner- about 500 calories
Snacks- 100-300 calories (afternoon or evening)4 -

There is no "best" way to split calories or macros. There's no best time of day to consume calories. The human body doesn't work that way.
There are ways of doing these things that are more effective for staying with one's calorie goals for the day. That's going to be different for everyone.
For me, I like to eat most of my calories between lunch and dinnertime. I've recently figured out that with a very small breakfast, I have a much easier time. I spent months trying to cut later in the day and struggled. As soon as I cut from breakfast it became much easier. I have no idea why.
I also figured out that I need more carbs to feel full.

Mine is dinner for calories. I don't know about carbs because I don't watch that that close.1

It's irrelevant to weight loss, and completely personal preference.
I eat my biggest meal at night (about 8pm). I don't snack, and choose to use my calories towards 2-3 decent sized meals instead as eating piddly amounts of food doesn't satisfy me at all2 -
Breakfast is my only guaranteed meal of the day. So, I make breakfast count and do my best to get something later. My work schedule is hectic and I rarely have time to get a decent lunch. I always have plenty of room for a couple of beers after work though. So since dinner has been primarily beer lately, I'd say most of my carbs are consumed then.0

I eat 4 meals + snacks. My heaviest meal, most carbs is 4 pm. Habit more than any other reason.
When my kids came home from school and my husband from work, we all had our daily time together with
A sandwich, chips, cookies, etc. just stuck.

Probably snacks. Although I don't count carbs so wouldn't know when it comes to that!0

Breakfast, 850 - 950 calories .. about 130 grams of carbs0

Often, snacks, as that's where I log my eaten-back exercise calories.1

As others have said, this completely depends on personal preference. Personally, I like to split my cals into 5 meals of +/-400 cals each. I eat at 10, 12, 2, 4 and 7. I get a bit grouchy (putting it nicely) when I get too hungry. Test a bunch of schemes and see what works best.1

Every person is different. For instance, I teach swimming and spinning for a living so I have 5 days where I burn an extra 2000 calories at work. When I started on here lunch was my biggest meal (40% of daily calories). After talking to my doctor we decided to try a different approach that is working so much better for me energy wise. Now my largest meal is in the morning because I burn a lot of calories late morning. I split the remaining calories I have for the day into 3 meals, plus any small snacks in order to reach my minimum calories for the day. I eat a smaller breakfast on day's I don't spend multiple hours in a pool or on a bike.1

I never snack as well so here lately I've been struggling to reach my calorie goals.0 -
Thank you everyone so much for the help. I am going to start changing it up and see which is what works best for me. I wasn't sure if there was a "better" time of day to eat then others.0

I used to fast until lunch everyday but I have recently started fasting until dinner around 6pm when I get home. So I eat a very large meal and snacks from 6-11pm to get all of my calories and nutrients in. I love it, it's sustainable and it fits my eating style.1

Do what's best for you. There is no evidence that meal size or timing makes a difference in weight loss.
It typically ends up that dinner is my largest meal caloricly. This is mostly because it's the meal I eat with my boyfriend. I plan work meals meticulously so I can eat more later. Which typically includes alcohol calories.
I eat at 7am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 6pm and 8pm on weekdays. I do snack between meals (3 meals, and 3 snacks), but they are all planned ahead. Weekends, where I'm less restricted, I rarely snack and eat bigger meals.1
