    Also, perhaps try Erythrotol? It's a natural sugar like stevia or xylitol (NOT an artificial sweetener like aspartame). I like the taste and don't get headaches or tummy aches from it.

    Neither erythrotol, stevia or xylitol are sugars. Erythrotol and xylitol are alcohols (hence the -ol at the end). Stevia is a glycoside of the steviol alcohol. On top of that most stevia products like Truvia are spiked with erythrotol so it basically is eryhtrotol. One 3.5 gram packet of Truvia contains 3 grams of erythrotol.

    Sugars end in the suffix -ose. If it doesn't end in -ose it isn't going to be a sugar.

    Have you tried sukrin? not sure if it's suitable for you or not, but it is really good, with no aftertaste etc

    Or it could be the lack of carbs causing the headaches.
