What is the difference? Is one plan better/more popular than the other?
What made you decide to follow either plan? Are the results good?
Am generally interested to learn more about each plan.

Weight loss is always about taking in fewer calories than your body expends.
So, the best plan for you is the one that helps you stay full while eating fewer calories**. The best plan allows you to eat foods you like (a plan you can sustain). The best plan also teaches/fosters new eating habits for maintenance.
**Be wary of drastic calorie cuts.....choose moderate paced weight loss for more options..
There are going to be groups here for each diet plan. The most popular method of weight loss here is not a "plan" at all. Calories in vs. calories out or all things in moderation. We're not fat because of carbs....we're fat because our portions are far too big and we don't move enough.4 -
As I understand it:
Keto is a generic term for low carb diets
ATkins is a specific diet plan involving counting grams of carbs, eating certain types of fat and so on expounded in a book written by 'Dr Atkins'
Restricting intake of carbs can lead to good weight loss but you need to think carefully what is going to be good for you in the long run.
Read up and make an informed decision1
