I just bought detox and anti-aging vitamins that consist of vitamin a c and e and the suggested use says 2 a day but I'm wondering if I could just take one and if that would still be enough to help to last longer..

Oh my, those sound expensive. How are they different from a regular multivitamin? Have you looked at the individual ingredients and how they actually work? examine.com is a great resource for looking up the effectiveness of these things. Is there any way you can get your money back? Vitamins A, C, and E are all available for relatively cheap and if you have a nutritionally balanced diet, they really won't have any impact.2

Anti aging... yeah you can't stop that from happening....4 -
Personally, I just use an ordinary multivitamin.
I know that my liver and kidneys are capable of handling any necessary detoxing.
I also know that I can't stop the process of aging.
But given the quantity of cycling I do, a multivitamin isn't a bad idea.

Toss 'em. At best they're just making expensive pee. If you're that concerned about whether you're missing vitamins and such, get a blood test done at your dr's office and go from there. If you REALLY needed to detox, you'd need a hospital, not detox vitamins/tea/whatever the latest scam is.0

Vitamins are unregulated and famously unhelpful. The pill kinds are often passed right through your system without ever breaking down. My Dr told me if i feel I MUST take a vitamin take a Flintstones chew-able so at least some of it is absorbed.
As for detoxing, if you have a healthy liver/kidneys then you are as detoxed as you are going to get.1 -

Oh dear. One, none, a dozen - doesn't matter - they're not going to do a darn thing for weight loss, "detoxing" or anti-aging. You wasted your money unfortunately.0

You don't need it. I stopped taking a multivitamin after my doctor told me I don't need it.0

Not true. My husband designs wastewater treatment plants, and while he says the screens collect many interesting things, undigested vitamin pills are NOT one of them.1
