2 weekends of upset stomach

So the last 2 weekends I've been battling what can only be described as the horror of a colonoscopy prep. Not sure what's up, but the water started today again
I thought last weekend could be food poisoning but this weekend again is odd since I didn't eat anything the same. Very sensitive nose and nauseous and today is the grumbling stomach and bloat yet. Could this be a digestive issue I should get checked out or just a wierd stomach bug fluke?

Is it only on the weekends? Are you eating something on the weekends you're not eating the rest of the week?

Could it be anxiety? Do you have a job or school that you dread on Mondays? I know several people who have had stomach issues as a result of anxiety.2

It's not unusual to have more than one bout of the same stomach bug - typically with the second go-round being worse, since the surviving bugs have learned from their previous battle with your immune system.0

Definitely see a dr. Are you taking kala or something like that? You might need to.1

You might want to look for patterns in what you are eating. New sensitivities develop. I had a "colonoscopy prep" reaction to a raw bag of spinach so I notified Dole of the problem so they could look/see any problems with that run of the stuff. They even sent me a refund unasked. Of course, I felt sheepish a month or so later when I had a raw spinach salad in a restaurant and had the same reaction. This is new. I eat raw spinach or spinach that hasn't been wrung out and I might as well drink a bottle of colonoscopy prep stuff. I pre-cook and wring out the spinach and no problem. Go figure.
You never know what it might be. My mother and I get stomach aches from cantaloupe and migraine-like headaches from chocolate. My husband likes the taste of lamb but it makes him nauseous. My sister doubles over in pain from green peppers and, when she needs a laxative, goes to McDonald's for a regular cheeseburger.1 -

HA!!! That's not funny. Always a chance I guess since the gas pains are so bad it feels like kicks. But very unlikely, not impossible though.0 -
I'm sorry, you have my sympathy. I have days like that for no reason at all, (probably a med side effect in my case) they aren't fun.
Look at your diary and see if the weekends have anything in common. Even go back a couple days, in case it's just taking a bit longer for your digestive system to work it's way through your intestines.
If you can't find a common thread a check up with your doctor probably wouldn't go amiss. If you can find a common thread, try eating that during the week (take a couple sick days if you can so you can stay close to the toilet) and see if it happens again. If it does, you've found your culprit.
Good luck.0 -
I have that reaction to kale. All of a sudden one day I just couldn't tolerate it raw--I used to use it in juice. Now I cannot. A small amount of spinach is okay for me, but lots of raw vegetables I used to be able to eat for 50 years, if I eat more than a small amount, it's a digestive problem.0

Ok, change this to 3 weekends. This weekend looks like water from both ends though
Thats new since haven't been puking much the last 2 times. Definitely seeing black stars and close to fainting a couple times already. I'm going to try to get to the walkin tomorrow to get checked out. This is brutal. I'm afraid of food
but I know I need my energy. I only had 1 good day this week where I could manage to eat my 1200 calories. Otherwise I just feel to icky.
