Help!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m very confused about this!!! I go to the gym during the week in the evening. So 7-8:30 or 7-9. All depends. Now I try to have dinner before the gym so I have dinner around 5:30 and then have a snack after workout. So I’ll have a few almonds and a Greek yogurt or a grapefruit and greek yogurt. Now my question is, should I just save dinner for after my workouts?? Or should I keep doing it that way. Or does it not really matter??? :/
