I 've been feeling Ill all week I 've still had over 10.000 steps everyday but I haven't worked out since Monday.
Looking at my weekly info my net is 977 and total 1252.
Should I take that 977 with a pinch of salt as it's basically counting just my Fitbit steps?
Definitely not doing this on purpose I love my food and it pains me that I 've been living on breadsticks and toast all week.

If you are sick, you are sick. Not much you can do about it.2

Well, it still takes energy to move your body even if you aren't working out. So assuming your Fitbit is generally accurate, I would accept it.
Are you feeling better now? A week of reduced appetite sounds worrying.0 -
considering 10K steps is generally above Lightly-Active level - you ain't no laying in bed sick burning barely anything.
Those daily activity only increased adjustments MFP is doing based on Fitbit are likely more correct than when exercise inaccuracies are involved.
Being sick is time to "feed a cold" if that's what is hanging on, if you can eat.
Flu type stuff, of course not probably - but again, when you can eat, body will know what to do with the nutrients.0 -
I wondered if net number is accurate as I 've seen alot of people saying Fitbit overestimates it as then that really is very low.
Janejellyroll figured out it's side effect from new tablets not sickness bug so will hopefully ease up in time.

Some people find that their Fitbit is accurate (I'm in this group) and others find that it over- or underestimates. Unfortunately, we can't really tell what category you'll be in. Your best indication is going to be your real life results over time.1

I'd say since you are ill the general rules don't apply. Eat what you can and concentrate on getting better. If this continues you'll probably want to see a doctor but if you're starting to feel better then just do what you can until you're back to normal.1
