I have been yo-yo dieting all my adult life. Weighing from 8st/112lbs-16.4st/228lbs even heavier then when I was pregnant. I started off severely obese at 228lbs on a low cal, low fat diet and lost 6lbs in 3weeks. The only problem was I was always hungry and I craved chocolates, sweets and cakes. I decided to try Keto way of living ( I have to remind myself it's not just a weight loss diet) in September. I weighed 222lbs still severely obese. I have to see this diet so far seems to work for me. I am currently 207lbs/ 14.11st just 74lbs till I make my goal weight 9.7st/ 133lbs. I currently eat around 1269kcal a day. I honestly struggle to all my calories. I don't ever feel hungry and I no longer crave sugar. I do miss the psychology behind eating sweet things like chocolate and cake as I was a comfort eater. But I can happily walk past the chocolates and the cakes in the shop or staff room and not feel the urge to have one. I am also intermittent fasting and lots more energy.
I know this diet isn't for everyone but it is working for me.
Franks hot sauce is my best friend at the moment I even carry a bottle in my bag. If you are living the keto way or have any keto recipes please share with me.
Thank you
