Not sure if you have them there, but I love Epic's Chicken Sriracha bars. 100 calories and 15g protein.

If I'm carrying something in my bag, I want something that doesn't need temperature control and won't get easily squished or broken. My usuals -

    baby carrots
    apple slices
    Chef's Cut chicken jerky
Quest bar (although, this can get squished if not careful)

Personal preference will go a long way here, so take all these responses wiht a grain of salt. Personally...

    - popcorn
    - apple w/ peanut butter
    - beef jerky

I like certain protein power bars. That's the brand name protein power. I don't like all of them but some of them I like. They have a huge amount of protein for 200 calories or less. But, you have to be careful that they don't get smashed or warm.

my go-to prepackaged snack is complete cookies (2oz version, when available). They have a little protein (8g for 2oz cookie, 16g for 4oz cookie), but you mostly buy them because they taste good or alternately justin's dark chocolate peanutbutter cup.

Both are just junk food though

I like keeping string cheese around. It's too cold and stiff to eat out of the fridge but warms up and gets nice and stringy by snack time. I'm always in air conditioned spaces, though, so no worries about heat or it melting.

Jerky is good, and I definitely keep nuts in my car and carrots in my backpack.

Ditto the Epic bars and various fruits/veggies.

I also love Rx Bars (Chocolate Sea Salt is AMAZING) and Primal bars. I can't have anything with soy/dairy/gluten, and these brands fit the bill.

The Kind chia bars (there's a mango apple one, for example) are yummy for a sweet kick, too. They only have fruit and chia seeds in them, so there are no preservatives or additives.

Other than that, trail mixes (no chocolate) and nuts are my go-to.

If you're careful about which you choose, the Graze boxes can be a good resource. You can choose which items you like, and there's box with perfect portions of their snacks.
